Of all the PNW mountains, Mt. Hood is my favorite. When I found the giant blank canvas on sale at the art store, I knew exactly what I would use it for. It wouldn't fit in my car though so I had to rope it to the top to get it home. I painted it over a weekend, blocking out the colors on Saturday and then detailing the rocks and trees the next day.
